MilitaryWas part of 8th AF till Oct '43, then became part of 9th AF. I led 2nd mission to Ijmuiden after 8th AF had 100% losses on first mission to Ijmuiden submarine pens. I also was first navigator to lead a whold squadron across North Atlanttic to England in formation. Completed 54 missions July '43 to Jun 9, '44.
