Louis Eugene Tourville
MilitaryWorked as leading aircraft ground crew chief for 3 years in a reconnaissance group. Originally in the 8th, the group was transferred to the 9th in December 1943 during his deployment. P-51s he serviced were used to spot and photograph coastal defenses in preparation for D-Day landings as well as German V-1 missle sites. He served 32 years with periodic duties as a flight engineer during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
