Previously survived July 20, 1944 accident during training transitioning from B-17s to B-24s. B-24H 42-52588 'Annie' piloted by David Ozbolt collided in practice bomb run with B-17G 43-3784 at the Ducks Hall bombing range north of Cavendish. .
