Leigh and Milly grew up in California. They were engaged during the war and got married after Leigh returned from England and was waiting with his unit to be deployed to the Pacific.

In the '60's Leigh and Milly moved with their kids to Whidbey Island, WA, where they live(d) out their lives. Milly at ~92 is still quite active living in their home with the assistance of their children.

Leigh and the family loved to boat and camp and he was very active in the community.

Leigh told me the most scared he ever was was toward the end of the war when the Nazi planes would try and crash into the airborne B-24's that Leigh was a crewman on.

Leigh and Milly are neighbors and friends. We miss Leigh and are happy to stay involved with Milly.
