Laverne R Olson
Military ROLL OF HONOURLaverne Olson (first name spelled La Vern in the WWII Casualties records), was hit by a Flak shell on board B-17 # 44-8602 during the 2 January 1945 mission to bomb the Ehrang marshalling yards in Germany. The Fortress was flown back to base but Laverne died of his wounds.
