Enlisted 17-Aug-42 at Pittsburg Pennsylvania. After Gunnery School & Radio Operator School at Sioux Falls Army Air Base, he was assigned to the 535th Bomb Squadron, 381st Bomb Group as a Corporal on 22-Jul-44 as part of the Charles O Todd Jr crew.
Promoted to Sgt. on 12-Aug-44 and to S/Sgt. on 18-Aug-44. Promoted to Technical Sergeant on 02-Sep-44.
Discharged 16-Sep-45 as a Technical Sergeant. Died 12-Jun-94 at age 72. Buried in Twin Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Delmont, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania with wife Eleanor H. Boura.
Award: AM (4OLC), GC, WWII Victory, EAME (5 x Battle Stars).
