MilitaryPOW Crashed at Roxel on 10/5/44 in B-17 'In the Mood' #42-107022. It is believed that the flak burst killed RO Tom Grissom immediately. Other members of the crew hastily donned chutes and waited at the bomb bay or waist door for the signal to abandon the plane.
