Military ROLL OF HONOUR

Killed in Action (KIA) 12 October 1944. Plane was 'Inside Curve' 42-39973. Went down spinning and twisting. Then in a nose dive blew up with all of my crew of nine, killing all but my Navigator and W. Gunner. Sidney Solomon and I, Paschal H. Powell were blown out and by a miracle of God, lived. B-17 blew up over Lincoln, England - near the Wash- all bodies recovered. "Inside Curve" had flown her last mission having completed 113 combat missions. Most of crew are buries at American Cemetery, Madingly, Cambridgeshire.
