Joseph G Kralick
Military ROLL OF HONOURLWG, Moore Crew. 381st BG, 532nd BS, 8th AF. Shot down 25 July 1943 in B-17 #42-30013 "Lethal Lady". Mission #12 to Hamburg. MACR 130. Killed in Action. Not a regular crew member. Wounded in the back by 20mm flak. Parachute opened inside of the plane. After bailing out, chute may have malfunctioned. Crew member witnessed S/Sgt Kralick's body with a hole in his forehead from possible gun shot wound from civilians. Germans buried the body in the Neustadt Hollstein Naval cemetery. Interred in the Ardennes AMC.
