Chief Controller, Air Operations Section, Special Force Headquarters from 19 June 1944 to 23rd September 1944.
He joined the US Air Corps Ferrying Command of the North Atlantic Wing in 1941, serving on Presque Isle, Maine, as supply officer. In 1943, he was transferred to the Office of Strategic Services on Baker Street, London. He was decorated by King George VI for his outstanding services and awarded the Order of the British Empire.
