Landed with battle damage from a mission to Frankfurt, GR on 20 Mar 1944 in B-17G #42-38124 'Passionate Witch'. RTD. Direct hit by flak on a mission to Chateaudin airfield, FR on 28 Mar 1944, B-17G #42-32082 exploded, broke up, and crashed S of the target. Killed in Action (KIA). Died following day of injuries.
