RTD Crashed at St Lo on 8-Aug-44 in B-17 43-37510. Losses has pix of B-17 42-32068 'Fool's Luck' which Maupin and crew had bailed out of on their 3rd mission at the end of Dec 1943. The plane landed itself near Potter's Bar.
Awards: DFC, BS, AM (OLC), WWII Victory, EAME.
