Jeptha O Jolly Jr
MilitaryJeptha O Jolly grew up in Texas, the son of a Baptist minister, who moved his family around the state.
Jolly served as a Radio Operator with the 305th Bomb Group. He was taken as a Prisoner of War (POW) on 24 August 1944. His aircraft, B-17 43-38146, was shot down by fighters and crashed at Leipzig.
He returned to Texas after the war and studied to be a dentist. He was in practice in Eastland, Texas, from 1951 to 1995. He died on 4 September 2013.
