Jack O. Eubanks served as a pilot with the 385th Fighter Squadron, 364th Fighter Group. Completed 67 combat missions flying P-38J and P-51Ds from RAF Honington. Credited with destroying two enemy aircraft.
Graduated from Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Alabama, 1940, before continuing to Auburn University. Left college in early 1942 and enlisted at Maxwell Field, Alabama. Attended aviation training at Tulare, California, 4-16-43 to 6-22-43; AAFPS (Basic) Minter Field, California, 6-22-43 to 8-24-43; AAFPS (ADV 2-E) Williams Field, Arizona, 8-31-43 to 11-2-43.
Discharged at Ft. McPherson, GA, June 1945. Retired from civilian employment at Daytona Beach, Florida, in February 1989.
