Ivan F Doyle
MilitaryShot down on 16-Aug-44 in B-17G 44-6126 while serving as Ball Turret Gunner. Aircraft was attacked by fighters setting the bomb bay on fire which caused the aircraft to explode and break in two. SSgt Doyle was able to bale out of the stricken aircraft and was captured as POW. Aricraft crashed at Teistungen, Germany.
