Horst Lowien Weber
MilitaryFrom me, David M Weber.
Jack Weber was my dad. Born October 7, 1920 in Parkdale, Oregon. Died July 30, 1997 in Snohomish, Washington. He grew up in Portland and was attending Oregon State University when the U.S. entered World War II. He was stationed in England along with his brother, Kurt, who was a radio operator on base while my dad was a B17 navigator. He wrote a memoir about the war I’ve misplaced but when I find it, I’ll add more here. After the war he received an MA in chemistry and worked in the insulation field. Had two kids with my mom, myself in 1955 and my sister in 1957.
Awards: DFC, WWII Victory, EAME.
