Prisoner of War (POW). A/C #42-30499 damaged on mission to Berlin, Ger. on June 21, 1944. Crew bailed out over Germany and were taken POW (7 POW). The pilot, co-pilot and navigator flew back to the UK and landed the badly damaged plane (3 RTD).
