Military ROLL OF HONOURHe was killed while on a flight coming back to America. It crashed in Scotland The reason for his death is part of an OSS secret file, never revealed. (See a book titled Flight of the Forgotten) He was 25 Years old. He was part of the Jack B. Ketchum Crew and they had flown 35 missions together
