Herman H Kaye
MilitaryHe reported to the ETO on 01 Sept 1944. He flew on Paul Reioux crew. He completed 30 missions. He bailed out of a B-17 over England on return from Koblenz mission of 28 Dec 1944 due to the plane being on fire and blowing up in mid-air.
Kaye later qualified as a physician and was a hospital administrator; he made a very generous donation to the 306th Association in 2001. He was from 1968 to 1982 Chief Executive officer of Pacific Coast Medical Enterprises Inc. and 1980-84 was Securities Commissioner for the State of California.
