Herbert M Weinberger

Military

Herbert Weinberger was a navigator on 401st Sqdn, 91st BG at Bassingbourn. His wartime nickname was 'Junior' because at 29 he was the oldest man on the crew. Other crew members often sought his advice and were apprehensive when he was not scheduled to fly with them on a mission.
