Change posted by Frank F. Clark of Grand Rapids, Michigan. i am Henry's eldest son. The last B-24 they flew had a baby pained on the side in honor of my birth while Henry was over there. Henry is now deceased. I have all his military records and his two awards.
Henry T. Clark was a newly married railway claim agent for the railroad when he was drafted for service. As was his way, he excelled in everything he did. He earned a citation for pistol sharpshooter before going overseas. While in the 8th Air Force in England, he achieved the position of lead squadron navigator with the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He could still add a column of numbers 4 across faster than most could just read them.
