Captain Walker Gabbert collects valuables from three pilots of the 55th Fighter Group at Nuthampstead prior to an operational flight. The pilots, standing, from left to right, are: Lieutenant Harry E. Larsen, of 718 E. 15th St. Anaconda, Montana; Lieutenant Karl H. Garlock, of South Nansit Road, Lockport, New York; and Lieutenant Robert N. Jensen, of Racine, Wisconsin.
Passed for publication 12 November 1943.
Robert Jensen would be shot down on 13 November 1943 and taken as a Prisoner of War. Karl Garlock, too, would become a Prisoner of War the following May. Harry Larsen would be Killed in Action on 11 December 1944.
