Technical Sergeant Glen O. Hardeman was born March13, 1917. His next of kin were his wife, Winifred Hardeman, and his father, Glen H. Hardeman. He was from Seattle, Washington.
On July 11, 1944, while aboard “Lorelie,” B-24 tail 41-29300 of the 458th Bomb Group, 755th Bomb Squadron, his aircraft disappeared on a mission to Munich, Germany. No sign of the plane was ever found after takeoff, and the presumption was made that it went down over the English Channel.
The remains of TSGT Hardeman were never recovered.
