On board B17 "White Lightening" 2/9/45. 40 minutes to IP losing oil pressure on engine #1. Feathered #1 and stayed in formation for 15 additional minutes. At which time #3 failed at 25,000 feet. After #2 failed went into steady decent to 6,000 feet and prepared to bail-out. Spotted hole in clouds and headed toward plowed field next to a church. Landed in plowed field and was met by a German soldier who told them "FOR YOU DA VOAR IS OFFER".
