Took part in Operation Tidal Wave, the raid on Ploesti on 1 August 1943, flying B-24 Liberator 42-40706.



I think the fellows will live with me forever, especially after Ploesti low-level attack. We all lived through it without a scratch. Just being with these crew members was an honor.
