Everard Eberling was Engineer/Top Turret Gunner on B-17 Serial 42-97483, shot down over Berlin on the 6 March 1944 mission.

Damaged by fighters but continued to the target of Berlin on 6 Mar 1944 in B-17G #42-97483. Crew was later forced to baled out and a/c crashed E of Bernau, GR. Prisoner of War (POW).
