Flight Officer Ernie J. Dickenson was born April 19, 1923, the son of Frank and Christine Dickenson. He was from Elmore City, Oklahoma.



On May 29, 1943, he was copilot of B-17 tail #42-3042 of the 96th Bomb Group, 337th Bomb Squadron, when it crashed near Rennes, France.

His remains were never recovered.
