He flew on 32 combat missions from Molesworth, the last 16 as Lead Bombardier for the entire Group. 'I would take 90-100 planes to the target. The other planes would drop their bombs when mine were released. If I missed the target, so did they..'. Post war he worked in his father's vehicle sales and auto repairs garage.
