Curtis H Howe
MilitaryHowe was dismissed from the USAAF on 31 March 1943, after being away without leave and neglecting his duties between 12 January 1943 and 28 January 1943.
On 12 January 1943 Howe sought a 24hr pass for a medical examination in London, he later called and apologised that he would be late back to base. He then remained away without leave until 28 January, when he asked for 'Adele' manager of the Hyde Park Club where he was apprehended by Military Police Officers. He had a black eye and a swollen nose received in a fight.
