Cloren A Meade
MilitaryCloren Meade flew with the 323rd Squadron 91st Bomber Group based at Bassingbourn until his B-17 went down in Holland and he spent the next two years as a POW at Stalag 17. After the war Meade worked for Beloit Corporation and was appointed to the City Council in 1986. He died 19th August 2002 and was survived by Jean, his wife of 56 years.
