Flew two missions on D-Day, 6 June 1944 in bomber serial number #44-6100 which was later re-named "Miss D-Day." Completed his tour of 35 missions between 4 June and 17 October 1944, mostly in bomber serial number # 42-31764 known as the "War Horse."
