Clarence Edwin Pohlmann, Jr. served in the 379th Bombardment Group (Kimbolton, England, AAF Station 117), 524th Bomb Squadron – one of 12 in the First Bombardment Division of the United States 8th Air Force – from 16 November 1944 to 21 March 1945.  The following are the crew and their positions on their first mission to Eschweller, Germany, on 16 November, in aircraft 43-37570 “Miss Liberty”.
