Charles Eugene Berry served in the Army Air Force during World War II from July 6, 1944 to June 27, 1946 when he was honorably discharged at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. His unit was the 99th Troop Carrier Squadron and he was part of the Occupation Force. He passed away of natural causes in his home state, Georgia on May 15, 2000.
