Lt. Charles E "Chuck" Konsler, [Utica, KY]. 335th Fighter Squadron. P-51D 44-14570 WD-D. Lt. Konsler seen in the cockpit with the arrow being the only reminder of the a/c's former identity. This a/c started out as one of Pierce McKennon's series of a/c named "Ridge Runner" before being reassigned to Ted Lines and then on to Chuck Konsler. It was finally reassigned to Lt. Robert L Couse when Chuck finished his tour of duty.
