30 December 1943 on return from mission to IGF factory at Ludwigshaven. B-24 #41-29130 was already on the runway when it was hit by another A/C of the 401s 'Two Gun Flossie'. 10 RTD. A/C was repaired but was Missing in Action (MIA) 24 Feb 1944. Melby crew.
