Mr. Katzenmeyer was born in Vicksburg and had been a resident of the Coast for the past 25 years. He was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School and attended Ole Miss. He was a retired lieutenant colonel with the Air Force and served in World War II and the Korean conflict. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with oak leaf clusters. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula and was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. |
