Born June 22, 1920 on a farm near Prosper, TX. Working for the CCC in Austin, TX when drafted into the Army. Volunteered for the Army Air Corp. Served in the Communications section of the 833rd Bomber Squadron at AAF Station 174 near Sudbury, England. Married Lena (Lee) Handman, of London, England, on March 15, 1945. Discharged September 27, 1945 and returned home to Prosper. Moved to Sherman, TX in 1950 and lived there for his remaining life. Died October 3, 2008.
