1st Group Radar Observer 'Mickey' at 306th from July 1944 to December 1944. He led the group to target and bombed through the clouds for about 15 missions. He was also lead navigator for other groups at bases: Graffton U. (10 missions), Polebrook (1), Molesworth (1), Kimbolton (1), Thurleigh (15), Bassingbonn (1). He mostly operated out of the 482nd and the 305th, getting up in the morning very early to hop over to the other groups.
