A Macchi MC 205?? with underwing rocket tubes is caught in the gun camera film of an American fighter, probably a P-47 Thunderbolt due to the unit specifications The Macchi was an Italian plane that may have clashed with American forces when they were fighting over Africa or Southern Europe, however after the collapse of Mussolini's dictatorship in Italy, many of the superior aircraft were seized by Italian separatists who were still loyal to the fascist Italy under Mussolini or by the Luftwaffe in order to bolster their flagging supplies of aircraft after the heavy losses suffered in the Battle of Britain and the Allied Bombing Raids over Occupied Europe.

Not a Focke Wulf, has a bubble cockpit not found on Focke Wulfs. Closest match found to planes in the Second World War owned by Axis powers was the Macchi MC 205.
