Information provided by user Phil Marchese

Phil suggests that B-17 (serial number 42-102422) nicknamed "Catfish" was a Boeing manufactured B-17G in natural metal finish, while the aircraft in this photo is a B-17F.

There is also a visible indentation running along the panel above the chalked name, which confirms that the aircraft depicted is the Memphis Belle, as the same crease runs through the bomb tally of that aircraft. The positioning of the pinup's elbow at the cheek window and the her heel and knee at the panel line are also identical to how they appear in other confirmed photos of the Memphis Belle.
