Capt Ralph T Allison, [Arkadelphia, AR]., P-51D 44-14654 LH-S “Molly M”. This aircraft was on lost 24th October 1944, with Lt Robert W Hedler being KIA. Capt Allison’s replacement aircraft was 44-63896 also LH-S and named “Molly M”. On him completing his tour of duty, it was reassigned to Lt Wiley H Grizzle, Jr. who renamed it “The G Nat”. Lt Grizzle was killed in action whilst flying it on 24 March, 1945.
Assigned to 350FS, 353FG, 8AF USAAF. Lost 24-Oct-44 - Lt Robert W Hedler Killed in Action (KIA) MACR 9639.
