Kipp. Navigator F/O Lester E. Volkman, Radio Operator/Gunner T/Sgt. Alvin L. Simberg, & Engineer/Gunner S/Sgt. Harold W. Scarberry survived. 1st Lt. Ramey was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his heroism that day, and 2nd Lt. Condit received the Silver Star.
