Delivered Cheyenne 31/10/43; Gr Island 13/11/43; Romulus 26/11/43; Assigned 331BS/94BG [QE-V] Rougham 23/12/43; Missing in Action Brandeburg 18/4/44 with Garrett Craig, Co-pilot: Roland McGee, Navigator: John Thompson, Bombardier: Tony Maria-Rossi, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Elam Snodgrass, Radio Operator: Bill Courtright, Ball turret gunner: Bob Speirs, Waist gunner: Lee Sawyer, Waist gunner: Gerald Apple, Tail gunner: Jesse Holt (10 POW) – captured crashed Gnoien, 26 miles SE of Rostock, Ger.); enemy aircraft, however the Germans reported aircraft went down probably in sea or lake as they found no wreckage on ground.
