Assigned to 449BS, 322BG, 9AF USAAF. Failed to Return (FTR) Siracourt,France. Damaged badly enough by AAA [hit in port engine, which was feathered and undercarriage dropped, possibly hydraulic damage] on the 21-Apr-44 mission to cause the crew to bail out near the coast of France [Berck sur mer]. All six men survived and became POW's. MACR 4308.
