I am Susan Thompson, daughter of Robert D. Thompson, crew (gunner) on this plane when it was shot down.  The images were provided to me by my cousin and WWI researcher, Tim Rathbone ([email protected]), and one image as well as the story, 'Kriegie', were given to me directly by Leonard Lincoln, another crew member on the day the plane was shot down.  He and my father went through POW camp together as detailed in autobiography.
