While parked at Little Staughton on 1 January 1944, was hit by 42-40002 of 616BS/401BG which losing brake hydraulic pressure while taxiing, ground looped and hit 42-37928. On board the latter that day : Pilot Clyde A. Lewis, Co-Pilot Mitchell K. Woods, Navigator William M. Eaton, Radio Operator Clarence R. Miner and passenger Donald W. Michael, who all returned to duty. Salvaged 6 January 1944.
