Delivered Denver 4/10/43; Gr Island 22/10/43; Assigned 568BS/390BG [BI-Q] Framlingham 11/11/43; on training flight to Alconbury 3/3/44 with Max Quakenbush, Co-pilot: Roger Johnson, Navigator: Amerigo Bassl, g-Bill Jeffries, pass-Lt Harry Van Horn (5 Returned to Duty); overshot runway causing severe damage; Salvaged 4/3/44.
