This photo was originally linked to Ramitelli airfield and, although the 332nd Fighter Group was based there I don't believe this is the location where that photo was taken. If you look at the location of Ramitelli airfield (41°53′43″N 015°07′08″E) there are no big hills such as those shown in the photo above near the airfield. You can also see this from modern day Google Streetview for the region where the airfield was, for example:-

However, if you look at San Severo airfield (41°42′45″N 015°25′48″E) it does have hills that look like this nearby. In fact you can see the same hills from (more or less) the same position/viewpoint as shown in the photo from Google Streetview:

The outline of the hill to the right seems to match the one in the original photo exactly. So I believe that the photo was taken at San Severo airfield and not the 332nd's base at Ramitelli.
