42-106730 Reggie's Reply
Assigned to 336FS, 4FG, 8AF USAAF. This aircraft belonged to (then) Lt. Johnny Godfrey. He had only flown the new aircraft on three missions prior to it's forced belly landing. This happened when Lt. Bob Tussey (John Godfrey's roommate) got his RAF flying boots tangled in the landing gear lever just over the runway.
