Assigned to 705BS, 446BG, 8AF USAAF. Returning from an aborted mission to Alencon, France, the aircraft crashed at Corner Farm, Rumburgh, on 7 June 1944. Although there are conflicting reports, it seems that there were 8 crew killed. 2 x RTD, 8 x KIA. No MACR
